Seasonal Fruits and Vegetables
While many fruits and vegetables are now available nearly year
round due a world climate, it is important to only consume fruits
and vegetables that are grown close to home, so that they have
not been packaged, stored for long periods and chemically sprayed
for preservation. To ensure this, it is always best to only
buy and eat fruit and vegetables that are in season for your
region. Seasonal foods are not only more natural and less toxic
to the environment and your body, they also taste much better!
Here is a general guide. NOTE: There may be many variations
depending on regional weather and climate conditions each year.
Your local organic grocer will have up-to-the-minute information
on the freshest crops.
